“Have you ever heard about Hyarroc? The endless jungles and beasts hiding in the depths of it? You haven’t? Then be on your guard or they will find you and pull you inside the jungles to devour you!”
The MassiveCraft Team are happy to announce the release of Hyarroc, our newest Survival and Factions map! The development of Hyarroc started about a year ago and since then hundreds of hours have been put into creating the terrain and the biome objects (BO2). Over 1550 unique BO2s have been built, including: ruins, trees, bushes, mushrooms and a whole lot more. All this work resulted in a massive world the size of 12.000 x 12.000 blocks! Making it one of the largest maps ever created on MassiveCraft!
Hyarroc’s main feature is the thick and nearly impassable jungle spread out across the world. Be careful not to lose your orientation or you might be lost for a few hours or even days. Don’t forget to carry a lot of bug spray with you, so you can defend yourself from the giant insects and other beasts living in the deep, dark jungle.
But there are many amazing things to discover in Hyarroc. We have built over 100 unique ruins, each of them with their own features and unique look. You may even find a few giant walls and claim them for a new faction base or stumble on a forgotten temple. You may also find one of the massive cave systems that lay buried under the mountains of Hyarroc. These cave systems are ranging from smaller tunnels to the size of entire cities! But watch out, no one knows what manner of creatures might live and slither through these dark caverns.
Join Hyarroc during our Pre-Release week! This feature allows Premium players to visit and explore this new world one week before we open it for the rest of our players. Premium players will however not be able to claim, build or destroy blocks during the Pre-Release.
The Pre-Release starts on the 7th of May, the official Release date will be the 14th of May!

Those shots look amazing! I can’t wait to explore it!
Can someone please tell me what shaders, settings, etc are being used to get these kinds of graphics and shading? I’m using a system with 32GB of Memory, I-7 2600K Quad Core 3.4GHz processor, GeForce GTX 580 video card, with solid state drives. I’m pretty sure I can handle it, I’d love to play the game with these settings. Last time I tried to get these kinds of graphics, it worked great but the shader pack I used didn’t work with the night vision trait.
The new map is looking great, brings back some good memories :)
Where is the Dynmap
