As another sun sets on the horizon of Regalia’s shores, but the normally warm air is permeated by a chill of unrest. The streets are empty, quiet with the exception of the Deathling guards that seem to peer into the very souls of passerby.

The new crowned Empress Freya Lo, Host for the Imperial Spirit, pulls tighter on the reigns that control her new empire. Her rule is now set in stone with an army of Deathlings to enforce her word, and an air of malice surrounds her, intimidating all who are unfortunate enough to meet her gaze. After her cannibalistic dinner event, very few citizens want to be in her vicinity, and even less are willing to oppose her.

Rumors of a revolutionary organization are whispered in the sewers, where the Empress’ army rarely ventures. The new Empress’ rule is questioned by even the highest nobles in secret, but none seem to be willing to put their neck on the line and speak against her. Commoners, citizens, illegal residents, and the darkest denizens of the underground seem to be at odds with one another – unwilling to trust even each other, lest they be hunted down as sympathizers for the resistance. Those unwilling to throw their lot in with her are, by definition, posed against her.

Others are reveling in Her Majesty’s new rule. Vampires walk among the streets with less to fear. Many support her cause, siding with Deathlings in combat and political matters. While there is no true representative for each demographic, it seems that some are coming to terms with the New Regalia, finding their niche in society, and keeping their heads and eyes lowered.

Will you side with the forces of evil in hopes of creating a greater good, or will you oppose Her rule with every fiber of your being, even if it means persecution?
