With the rising use of the MassiveLooks by community skinners on Planet Minecraft, the Massivecraft Staff Team would like to inform all of you on how to best utilise the tag system, both as artists looking to post their skins, and prospecting players looking to quickly find a suitable skin to fit the server environment.

What’s the tag for?
The MassiveLooks tag is intended for finding and publishing the kind of consistent, high-quality skins with the individual style that suits the server’s fantasy atmosphere.

The tag and brand presents the opportunity for a huge catalogue of resources that any MassiveCraft player, whether brand new or veteran, can use to get onto the server without worrying if their skin fits in.

So what should I use the tag with?
The MassiveLooks tag should be used with two things in mind– ease of use, and dependable quality. MassiveLooks skins should be open to use for anyone who wants to use them, to recolour, edit, combine, or mix up however they want to.

How can I use the tag?
That’s simple! If you’re in the market for a new skin, simply searching up ‘MassiveLooks’ in the search bar will instantly bring you to a gallery full of them, which you can pick and choose at your convenience.

If you’re trying to post a skin, all you need to do is upload your skin with the tags as shown below.

Optionally, you can add in a description to direct interested new players towards the MassiveCraft forums and official webpage. We’ve provided one here for easy copy and pasting.

This skin is Free to Use! Made by a member of the MassiveCraft.com community, a fantasy Factions and Roleplay server.

How shouldn’t I use the tag?
As stated above, MassiveLooks skins should always be free to use– so skins that you want to post to PlanetMinecraft but don’t want other players to use shouldn’t be uploaded with the MassiveLooks tag. We’d like anyone who looks for a MassiveCraft skin to be able to find the things they can use first, rather than ones that they’ve been told they can’t.

You also shouldn’t post other people’s skins that are already in use with the tag without that person’s explicit permission. Very few commissioners would be happy to see someone logging on with their character’s outfit or face and, on the opposite side, no new player wants their OC compared to another character.
