New Bo2 builders wanted!

Main concept for Faradeen

What is it for?
Construction of a new world has started, Faradeen the scorching deserts of the lost civilizations. This world will be a mainly desert inspired world, featuring scorching hot deserts, oases and large ruins of an ancient civilization. While this world will not receive as much attention as Ellador received, TerrainControl will be used to order it’s biomes in a realistic fashion and make the environment interesting. As such we require more Bo2’s to be built in the setting of this Desert world.

Keywords of what we are looking for:

Half sand covered statues
Ruined arab inspired buildings
Colossal ruined structures (with colossal we mean huge)
Ruined classical cities (roman build style for example)
No pyramids
small nomad towns or caravans
Desert trees/bushes

If someone is up for it, we could even attempt to recreate structures such as Petra in Jordania. The speed of the development of this world largely depends on the BO2 construction, most of our biomes are already available.

On a side note, if you think your city can be used (or anything you built in massivecraft itself already) feel free to post a comment down below and we will look at it (if you give the map coordinates)

Keep in mind you may not want to start building straight away, we will assign grid plots for this world specifically on friday, so another announcement will start by then. Perhaps use this post to gather some inspiration or try around a bit in creative singleplayer (or your own grid plot).

I can help with the nomad towns, and ruined citys (Roman, i can make some roman). If its not to late, i have a national geographic magazine that has an article on desert sand dunes and formations from around the world.

Ah, I have been waiting for a desert world for some time! I love building ancient Egyptian structures and the likes in desert biomes. If needed, I can make some very elegant Oasis’s and the likes. I can also make a few canyon like areas if I set my mind to it.

This is just a thought but I think a great building that should be used for this new world is Aegyptus. But to create the cool ruin look people could destroy parts of it/make it look old and dilapidated. Aegyptus, I think, would be perfect for this new world.

I would suggest worldediting chunks of the old Rising Sun Empire to create ruins. I think it still exists as a permanent faction somewhere in Ceardia
