Hello players of Massivecraft!
Today Mojang updated out beloved game Minecraft to 1.4.6 and as usual we will have to wait for all plugins and server software to update before we can update it.
So remember, “Do you want to update?” NO.
“But… I already updated and now i can’t play on Massivecraft” :'(
– No problem! You can downgrade you client to 1.4.5 again!
For Windows
Remember to backup you screenshots and texturepacks, they might get deleted under installation.
- Download the 1.4.5 .jar file
http://assets.minecraft.net/1_4_5/minecraft.jar - Type %appdata% into the start menu
- Open .minecraft folder
- Open the bin folder
- Delete the current Minecraft.jar file
- Paste in the Minecraft 1.4.5 file
- Done
- Welcome back you Massivecraft!

I own a Mac computer. I have no idea how to downgrade with Mac. Please help me!
I cannot find my “Application Support” folder, so i cannot access my MineCraft files.
Go to Finder, and in the toolbar on top, clock ‘Go’. At the bottom, there’s this button that says ‘Go to Folder’. There’ll be this thing that pops up, and it’ll say ‘Go to the folder:’. Type in “~/Library/Application Support/Minecraft” into it, and it’ll bring you there (:
Pixel are you a boy or a girl?
I have no idea how to do it on the Mac’s with there black witchcraft, Google it? :)
Does anyone have any speculations on when Massivecraft will be updating?
Anything between a few days and a few weeks. It mostly depends on the plugin developers and how they update the plugins.
Thank you.
I am also on a mac, is there a way you could put a link in that shows how to downgrade for it? That would be so helpful! Thanks you.
I do everything that this tells me to, but for some reason when I start it up after changing the files the loading bar stops moving when its almost done. Any ideas on what’s happening?
Then it normally helps to delete the rest of the stuff in the folder and just leave the 1.4.5 jar :)
