It has been a while since the Crimson Inquisition was removed for external reasons, but we have decided to bring it back in full swing. The New Crimson HQ will be set up soon, and all the old members will be actively available again. This time however, we have added a disclaimer so you know what you’re getting into when you roleplay with a Crimson.

What is the Crimson Inquisition?
The Crimson Inquisition is a military organisation subject to the Religious Order of Dawn in Regalia. Regalia has it’s own religion, and the Crimson Inquisition exists to root out heretics and heathens, as well as everything evil according to the Regalian Religion. On the contrary of popular opinion, this does not only cover Vampires, but also Undead and other demonically posessed scum, as well as people professing false religions or offending the Regalian Religion.

Can the Crimsons Kill my roleplay Character?
Yes and No. Normally speaking nobody can kill your roleplay character without your permission. There is an exception with the Crimson Inquisition however. The Crimson Inquisition is an opt-in series of events, meaning you are not forced to participate. You may spectate a Crimson Event or Event Scene, but if you speak, perform actions or plot against the Crimson Inquisition, then you give away your permission to the Crimsons for the consequences of your actions.

How Can I avoid the Crimsons?

  • Ignore the Crimsons and walk away
  • Tell them beforehand you don’t want to participate in OOC Brackets ((Like this))
  • Don’t make anti Crimson statements in Regalia.

Generally speaking a good fist rule to remember is the following: Just because there aren’t any Regalian soldiers or guards running around the city, doesn’t mean you shouldn’t roleplay their presence. Regalia is not wilderness or lawless land, everyone should roleplay the presence of soldiers and guards on nearly every street except in the slums, Regalian is a militant state. If you start attacking people in the street, expect to be dragged off by soldiers. If you become unruly or disruptive, a staff member may enforce the roleplay on you with teleport and jail commands if you are being unreasonably uncooperative. The Crimson Inquisition is supposed to be fun for those involved. If you don’t personally like the Crimson events, don’t participate in them and avoid them. It minimizes the amount of drama for you.

I wonder how many times this thing has been brought to life and then taken down…

It has been stopped 2 times and started 3 times.

“but if you speak, perform actions or plot against the Crimson Inquisition, then you give away your permission to the Crimsons for the consequences of your actions.”

Why can’t everyone follow the standard universal RP etiquette? Any person can ‘attempt’ to kill any other individual, however it is up to that individual on whether he/she was or wasn’t killed by that attempt.

GOOD: *Player 1 thrusts his wooden stake towards the vampire’s chest* *Player 2 manages to grab the stake with his hands right before it pierced his chest, and then quickly stumbles backwards*

BAD: *Player 1 thrusts his wooden stake into the chest of the vampire, killing the vile creature* Player 2: ((OOC: Wait…..what? You can’t just kill me!!! It’s my character, not yours!))

Well then, this is bad news for those with vampires as their wives, including myself, not good news at all, just a question, if I join the crimson’s will my wife be given protection? She doesn’t drink from anyone or kill anyone

Yay, decent Vampire RP is back. That is, if people accept this. LOL, I’m funny. But seriously, for God’s sake, I hope people get the message this time. Ugh. All of Humanity is an idiot in some way. Want proof? Gangnam Style is 250 mil views away from 2 billion. All hope=Lost

    I’m pretty excited for this.

Is there anywhere we can find out more about the Regalian Religion?

  8. KeijiMaeda13 2014-01-27 at 11:52

This will make RP a lot more interesting. The Crimson is like the Crimson Guards from Jak & Daxter. They do what they please, and only their leader can stop them. So I better not try and kill Athena Lovegood/Athena Kane again XD. Especially with her baby on the way :O
