The Old Ithanian district is located to the southeast of the holy city, neighboring the Harbor District. The local flora flourishes alongside the old stonework of tall houses that line each side of the district’s streets. A small central park unites all of the Old Ithanian streets into one and is a common meeting place for D’Ithanie citizens. As opposed to the New Ithanian District, this area keeps true to old D’Ithanie values of sensibility and intellect.
Nightlife in the Old Ithanian district is booming, with numerous bars and taverns dotting the area, selling the locally crafted artisan wines, and behind the scenes, bootlegging stronger spirits for more executive prices.
The area is also known for being mixed racially – Yanar and Tigran citizens find homes in the areas where they can be afforded, and find work behind-the-scenes in dive bars and quiet hangouts.
Being situated near the Harbor District, the area keeps a large, influential cultural market, spreading anything from language to fashion to the rich wine production brought over from Ithania. Few trade ships dock in this area as well, ready to import and export D’Ithanie goods.
