- 4x Netherrack (as a square) ↔ Netherbrick
- 5x String (as a cross) ↔ Cobweb
These were added
- 4x Netherrack and Brick → Netherbrick
- 5x String ↔ Cobweb
- 2x Lava Bucket and 2x Water Bucket → Obsidian
- 5x Bonemeal and 4x Sand → Endstone
- 5x Slimeballs and 4x Dirt → Mycelium
- The Sandstone variants are connected in a circular manner:
Normal → Smooth → Chiseled → Normal … - 4x Brown Mushroom → 1x Huge Red Mushroom Fleshy Piece
- 4x Red Mushroom → 1x Huge Red Mushroom Top Piece
- 3x Brown Mushroom and Bonemeal → 1x Huge Red Mushroom Stem Piece
- 3x Brown Mushroom and Cocoa Beans → 1x Huge Brown Mushroom Stem Piece
- Stick, 2x Lava Bucket and 4x Glowstone → Blaze Rod
- Oak Sapling and 4x Wheat Seeds → Fern

Yeah that is one of the goals infact. We felt they were far to expensive currently :)
The only part about this i don’t like is the new way to get nether brick. Seems a bit unnecessary but hey better than having to go out and mine it.
Guess I’ll have to start strip mining deserts for sand and sandstone, was hoping that a way to make these renewable would be added.
Also clay will be the new expensive building block, since it now is needed for netherbrick as well. Maybe endstone will be the new light brick of choice for half timbered construction, need to look at it in the texture pack. Wool is cheap, but I don’t like the look.
I would agree with most of the new recipes but some of them are unnecessary. It was better when it was possible to craft Netherbrick without a craftingtable. To craft Obsidian with 2 lava and 2 water buckets is just important for those who have no diamondpickaxe and i think its easier to get a diamondpick than 2 lava and waterbuckets. The new Endstone recipe will make endstone as valuable as cobblestone and this is really terrible. I would prefer some other blocks and items to craft Endstone which make the Endstone not as rare as cobble. :(
Well I’m happy with all of the new recipes :) Blaze rods were far too expensive and I didn’t even know the end was open to get endstone :P
