A list of race changes has been rolled out today:

Changes to Human

  • Humans now have the power of colonialism: Humans, when harvesting wheat, have a 20% chance to drop an additional wheat. When cutting wood logs from any tree, humans also have a 10% chance to drop an additional log of that wood. This is to simulate the faster growing population of humans when compared to other races.

Changes to Agni

  • Don’t heal while in fire or on fire anymore (Heal in lava only)
  • Firetouch removed (Agni no longer apply burning on people with fists)
  • Agni now die much faster in water then previously

Human advantages were rolled out to provide the human race an interesting trait, and the Agni were rebalanced to be less “god-tier” in PVP.

    Fantastic!

… Now when will elves and dwarves get infravision (night vision)? ^_^

Probably not because thats already a perk for vampires

I understand the reasoning behind the Agni, but I worry they may have been nerfed a little too much… Now rather than being overpowered in PVP, they’re weakened, due to an inability to heal

    Fantastic, I love these changes.

okay, lets say that 100 people on serer are agni, after this update, no one will be agni any more. This is just to ”nerfed”

A unfounded number and an unfounded statement.

      Lava Swimming: Swim in lava
No damage from being on fire
No damage from standing in fire
No damage from standing in lava
      Heal while standing in lava
      Truce with ghasts
      Foodlevel always at maximum

Those are all great things. Most classes only have damage added.

I understand the need to nerf the Agni but I think that getting rid of the regen in fire was a bit odd because in PvP when is there going to be lava?

    • Xanderab 2013-02-07 at 17:47

      There is at Remus

Yep I was agni and now i need to change one and only one reason cannot pass trough portal anymore, before was risk now will be suicide, this was to much nerf, agni must have a way to heal or at least make them not hurt in portals

This issue with portals wasn’t intended. Fixing the issue may take quite some time though. Thanks for pointing it out though.

Yay! Finally Humans get some perks! It used to be that Humans were just mainly for RP and Vampirism now it’s better. Shank-you.

I don’t like these changes, Agni was a bit god-like but Agnis could not go anywhere in the rain or go over water also they couldn’t heal in pvp arenas (except remus) or in enemy territorys if there was no fire, so for how ever good Agni WAS it had its down sides that made it a even race. also something i was wondering about is that Naga and Agni would have both been good pvp races (evenly matched) , but now that Agni is useless for pvp and there is mass use of Naga which i find a bit odd, we changed a good pvp race because if was “to” good and add in another one that is about the same amount of “god-tier” if not more because they have no restrictions. so all in all i think we should let Agnis back into the world of Massviecraft

I think there Races are great now except Agnis special “perk” Was lighting people on fire. I mean there lava beings and seeing as fire aspect now works against them it would be far.. ^^ right?
