The central market hub of the player run economy of MassiveCraft has been reworked! The existing market will be phased out on the 15th October 2022, and multiple themed markets, with hundreds of stalls of capacity, will be simultaneously introduced in its place! The current market hub has seen millions of regals worth of trade pass through dozens of vibrant, decorated shops and stalls. However, with player numbers increasing and the quantity of shops not being sufficient for the player numbers of today, the market is due a well-earned refresh.

The staff team has been hard at work brainstorming a way to improve on the current system, and have decided that the best way to proceed is to decommission the existing two-tier market and replace it with several themed market hubs. These hubs are now built and ready to be brought over to the live server!

The current market hub will be phased out, being redirected to /tp OldMarket from the 15th October 2022 onwards. We advise players who currently own a market stall to remove their items before that point, so that you can easily rent and utilize a stall in the new market hubs while staying within our market rules. Players who currently own shops or stalls will be reimbursed pro rata for their market stall rent by the Game Department.

The new market hubs will be available to view on the 15th October 2022 at 9pm BST, 4pm EST. Stalls will be available to rent one hour later at 10pm BST, 5pm EST. Announcements will be made in-game on the day of both releases to keep you informed of ongoing events. Existing rules still apply to the new market hubs.

Combined, these hubs have significantly more stall space than was previously available in the single two-tiered hub allowing for more players to own a stall and participate in MassiveCraft’s player run economy!
