I spent some time coding on the vampire plugin today. This is new:
- The vampire superpowers work on vanilla clients.
- Spoutcraft is no longer required.
- Due to a bug in Spoutcraft the superpowers actually doesn’t work on Spoutcraft clients for now. This will hopefully be fixed by the Spoutcraft people soon.
Conclusion:
You should avoid spoutcraft for now if you are a vampire. Use “/v b” to toggle bloodlust and “/v shriek” to shriek instead of the hotkeys. Remember to patch your vanilla client for HD textures and use our official texturepack. If you are a human Spoutcraft works just fine. Read more about vampires here.

Spinds great. For vampires but i liked how some ppl changed to spout for get extra features
If spout if fixed, can we still bloodlust in normal minecraft still?
Yes. After spoutcraft bugfix it will work on both types of clients.
What the heck? There is now a whitelist?
Just tried to get on the server, and “you are not on the whitelist” popped up. Dahek?
You have been on the server long enought to know that white list is only during a few minutes when cay tests new installed software before opening to public. Its only for a very few minutes when it happends…
But Spout doesn’t work for me since a month.
I always get the the error “The connection to the server has been lost”.
And with Vanilla the MC-texture pack doesn’t work correctly. The whole nether looks like a sea, every fire is a red block and water and lava doesn’t flow.
It is really unsatisfactory…
At http://massivecraft.com/media Click the link “patch your client”. After you patched it the texture-pack will work perfectly :)

I tried to download a new version of Spout. But i didn’t know that there is a patch for the texture pack with Vanilla.
I don’t need a video. I studied computer sciences ;-)
But maybe a bigger hint to this topic would be helpfull.

Agh I’m so excited for this, it’s a really great plugin and i can’t wait to be able to use all the features of it. It’s out of complete laziness that i cant be bothered fussing with spout, I’ve tried in the past and just had too many issues. I’ll be keeping a close eye on the progress and hope to play it soon :)
I want to get spoutcraft (since im not a vampire) and I don’t know where to find it D: I can’t find the link anywhere on here and this is the only site I want to trust with the link. I reaaally want to get spoutcraft :(
