Direction
We handled player investigations & appeals this week, internal audits, and department organization.

Game

  1. Protected Factions are coming to MassiveCraft, this Friday, 29th April! This highly anticipated addition to the Factions Plugin enables faction leaders to protect their members for free, fully disabling PVP within their own faction territory! Build, recruit, roleplay and explore our survival worlds, using the toggleable protected flag to be free to carve out your own corner of peace and harmony, completely protected from PVP and raiders!   2. The Shady Merchant is back in Aloria with new items to sell! You can check out what’s in store at /tp Ithania.
  3. Changes have been made to how damage is calculated; armour value has decreased, critical strikes from axes has been removed, and Eronidas damage has been lowered from 10% to 7.5%. Archery damage will not flucutuate as much as it did, and serrated strikes and skull splitter have been buffed. These changes were made with damage increase in mind while reducing RNG in damage calculations.
  4. Axolotls, Glow_Squids, and Dolphins now no longer spawn in faction land with the animal flag turned off. Please make a ticket if you observe other types of animals spawning where they should not be.
  5. World edit service update: filling in an area with water or lava is now possible at 1r per 100 blocks. Note: if you wish to fill an area with lava, you must provide the proper amount of lava beforehand (such as buckets in a chest).   6. Along with this we’ve also wrapped up 57 tickets both in-game and over Discord.

Tech
Tech have been hard at work shreking it up this week. The codebase is looking just a teensy bit different, and we have some much anticipated changes coming soon to a restart near you. Got questions? Got concerns? Got complaints? Direct them to your local Ticket Bot and we’ll satiate your burning curiosity for knowledge and collect those yummy delicious ticket points.

Factions
• Protected flag introduced. For information on Protected Factions, click here. • Peaceful flag renamed to TruceAll to limit confusion. • Added functionality to prevent players from being fished out of safe zones. • A container permissions enhancement has been added. If a player has build permissions but does not have container permissions in claimed land, containers such as chests and barrels cannot be broken with items inside. Players with container permissions and build permissions can break containers that contain items.
Modernization Efforts
• TPA functionality implemented into MassiveBasic instead of external plugins. Godmode functionality implemented into MassiveBasic instead of external plugins. • Players can now click different elements in /seen to access more information (such as their Kingdom or Faction) without having to run additional commands. • Additional information is now displayed when hovering over elements in /seen, such as an accurate timestamp for first or last played. • Added Kingdoms support to MBasic. Players can teleport to Kingdoms, and Kingdoms are shown on /seen. /tp k is now possible. • Timezone support has been added. Players can now select their local timezone and view plugin information with their local time using /timezone.

Kingdoms
• Kingdom permissions to see and send chat have been added. • Implemented a fix for a Kingdom transfer when the leader needs to be transferred due to losing a siege in certain scenarios. MassiveChat • Implementation of Kingdom chat functionality.

MassiveMoney
• Timestamps have been implemented for how long ago a transaction has occurred and when a transaction was made.

MassiveElytra
• Sieges integration added.

MassiveRaces
• Url renamed to Urlan.

MassiveCore
• Fixed bug in MassiveCore that prevented people from splashing harmful potions on each other when flagged as friendly. • Added features for MythicMobs functionality.


Quest

Quest performed more work on Race Dungeons by going through with Game on what was needed to meet the goal and adjust the levels and code to match the race abilities. 1.17 mining quest work on adjusting rewards and testing. The RP Tutorial is being coded.

  • Derpadillo: Races dungeons review, 1.17 mining quest adjustments/testing, roleplay tutorial quest coding.


PR

This week we focused on individual projects and getting announcements out to the playerbase. Our aspirants are working to familiarize themselves with PR processes.

  • Oblivaify: Wrote announcements for the Amynanth Treasure Hunt event.
  • SneakyLinguine: Made a Logo pixel/block art concept and began competitor research.
  • Ocularum: Answered tickets, took screenshots of roleplay events, tested plug-ins with FourThirteen, and sent out announcements.
  • seoulmate: Upkept the Facebook page as well as assisting with event announcement tickets in game.
